TorchED is a custom tool developed by Runic for editing the open-source OGRE engine which the game is based around - and which already has a very large and active community. Runic Games, a team formed of ex-Blizzard developers who worked on the Diablo series and who recently put out the rather similar Torchlight, have now released the official modding tools for the game.Ī developer-level toolset, TorchED will allow fans to create anything from custom skins and interface tweaks to new game content and total conversions, according to Runic.
